Equine Ultrasound & Rehabilitation

Dr. Runk provides comprehensive diagnostic ultrasounds and works with you to develop a rehabilitation plan for your equine ahtlete.  Through follow-up ultrasounds the recovery of your horse can be closely monitored and tailored to meet the on-going  and changing requirements of your horse.

Dr. Runk received his degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Pennsylvania.  After completing his internship at the University of Pennsylvania, he moved to California to complete a residency in internal medicine at UC Davis and is a board certified internist with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.  After establishing and running a successful mobile equine practice for 9 years in the Davis area, he trained extensively in ultrasound with Dr. Carol Gillis.  He now devotes the majority of his time to his ultrasound practive.
